Our core activity has always been our public edible beds. They’re dotted around Garforth (and surrounding areas) and aim to show people where their food comes from.
Our beds are placed at the heart of communities and encourage curiosity, as well as providing a free, healthy and sustainable source of food.
Over the past six months across six public edible beds we have planted and harvested (deep breath); Cabbage, courgette, tarragon, tomato, celeriac, Inca berries, strawberries, chard, radish, French bean, rocket, purple sage, peppers, borage, allium, kale, mint, chilli, broccoli and cauliflower.
The location of our current beds can be found on our Map page.
More beds are planned so keep an eye on our social media pages for details.
